Product Description This book about male and female orgasms is an opportunity to convince anyone that humanity is at a turning point. Due to the improved technique of medically assisted conceptions and cesareans, the advances in anesthesiology and pharmacology, and the development of the food industry, women can now conceive a baby, give birth and feed their infant without relying on the release of 'cocktails of love hormones'. Human intelligence and ingenuity have made love hormones redundant.

| Customer Reviews: Orgasms in Birthing, Nursing & Sexual love, Yea! July 5, 2009 Michael B. Sprague (Eugene, OR) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I been studying natural & medical birthing for 25 years now & this book explains them both deeper than any book i've read since "Birth Reborn" by Dr. Odent on Waterbirthing. But "The Orgasms" educates us about how hormones of love surge in birth, sex & nursing babies. He also reveals how they've been denied & repressed for centuries in most cultures. He even shares the ancient history of ecstasy & transendence from Gilgamesh to now! His ideal birth is self controlled mother alone in natural place she chooses & even prepares to deliver as many natural mothers done for centuries. He even sites Masters & Johnson, & super-tech 'brain imaging' research of people sexing & their hormone levels. He mentions how our instinctual functions can work in birthing & nursing.
His language is seriously exposing anti-ecstatic birthing & sexualove tactics of most cultures; & new trends since 1970s of natural home birthing & sexual freedoms. We've never seen natural morphine like hormones: endorphines, oxytocin & adrenaline explained in our sexual lives, birthing & nursing in print, WOW! This is shocking for current science educated medical folks, even midwives & Doulas. He has dry humor with juicy sarcasm of "Legendary Orgasms, Pessimistic & Optimistic scenarios" for future love. This is so deep, read it twice between surges of ecstatic love?! or ignore at risk of missing bliss happening in private birth & bonding.
okay book... April 23, 2010 M. Kennedy 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Interesting book, but it didn't really help me with understanding the problems I was having with having an orgasm.
You might want to look one over before you buy it if you can
